As you usually do
Your usual camera, your photos and your videos. No new capture camera to fit into your routine.
One moment. Many perspectives.
PurpleStory explores temporary photo and video sharing around an event. With the camera you already use.
Being prototyped
01 / The vision
An evening, a party, a reunion. The idea is simple: bring an event’s captures together in one place, without making a permanent album.
Your usual camera, your photos and your videos. No new capture camera to fit into your routine.
Automatic sharing is proposed with explicit acceptance. Manual sharing remains accessible.
A collection lasting 1, 3, 4 or 6 hours. Then a fixed expiration, 72 hours after it closes.
02 / The planned experience
The project follows the rhythm of your event. Invitations and the experience with others are still to be built.
Choose 1, 3, 4 or 6 hours. Collection closes at the scheduled time, without an early stop.
Take photos or videos as usual. Accept the proposed automatic mode or choose manual sharing.
Access to the event expires at a fixed time. A copy already saved on a phone may remain there.
03 / Prototype status
Being prototyped
The first step focuses on iOS: discovering accessible media, preparing original resources and tracking uploads in a persistent queue.
The app is not yet available to download.
A diagnostic interface, originals and native transfers. Native compilation and iPhone testing still need to be carried out.
iOS decides when execution is allowed. Delays vary; regular wake-ups and immediate sharing are not guaranteed.
A shared album, invitations and downloads. Captures of unknown origin still require manual confirmation in the prototype.
